Airstream Dreams: A Family Renovation Story

A 1990s Airstream—made with our hands, dirt covered jeans and a whole lot of heart.

This Airstream was a true passion project—one that really picked up speed during the early days of COVID, when work in film and styling came to a sudden pause. With time on our hands and a shared need for a creative outlet, my family and I took on the full renovation ourselves.
We gutted it down to the bones, clearing out years of mold, mouse droppings, and plenty of surprises along the way. What started as a shell became a space we poured our hearts into—layered with vintage finds, natural textures, and little details that made it feel like home on wheels.
This project reminded us of the joy in building something slowly, together, with intention.
Finally, last summer it was finished and we were able to shoot it with the amazing photography work of Alex Lukey. I'm so honoured it was recently featured in Style at Home—you can read the article here.
Scroll through for some of my favourite finished moments—and make sure to check out the before photos. You’ll be shocked by the transformation.
