The Tablescape Series: A Story of Colour – November Edition

the next gathering in the Tablescape Series—a private evening for friends exploring colour as a lens for design, seasonality, and sensory connection.

This month’s theme is Earthen Terracotta: an evening rooted in warmth, community, and the grounded tones of November earth. The table will draw from Italian tradition—where food, art, and conversation unfold freely—evoking the colours of clay, ember, and flame. It’s a gathering that celebrates return: to the body, to connection, to the quiet joy of being among one another.

In collaboration with Chef Kate Levitt, the evening will take shape as a grazing-style dinner, inspired by the ease of Italian salons. Guests will move through the space as they eat and talk, tasting a generous spread of seasonal dishes designed to be shared—each one a reflection of the harvest and the art of simplicity. Wines will flow throughout the night, chosen to mirror the warmth and depth of the season.

Each Tablescape also includes a moment of shared inspiration—something sensory and unexpected that brings the theme to life. This month, that moment will be revealed slowly, woven through the rhythm of the evening itself: a quiet reminder of how beauty often lives in motion, and how the truest gatherings feel both effortless and artful.
