The month of May's theme Butter Yellow: an evening shaped by light, warmth, and the quiet return of spring. May is when the season fully begins to reveal itself. The ground has softened, gardens start to take shape, and the world feels like it is opening again. There is a sense of ease that replaces the heaviness of earlier months. Butter Yellow reflects that shift. Soft, warm, and gently alive.

Held at this point in the season, the evening will lean into warmth that comes from light rather than depth. Soft yellow tones, natural linens, and airy textures will shape a table that feels open and expansive. A subtle nod to morning light, fresh butter, early blooms, and time spent outside as the days begin to stretch. Where stillness gives way to movement, and everything begins, slowly, to grow.

In collaboration with Chef Kate Levitt, the dinner will unfold with thought and care, guided by the mood of the month. The menu will feel fresh and seasonal, offering brightness and comfort in equal measure. Dishes that feel light yet satisfying, designed to reflect the shift into spring and the return of colour, energy, and abundance.
