the next gathering in the Tablescape Series—a private evening for friends exploring colour as a lens for design, seasonality, and sensory connection.

This month’s theme is Snowdrop Ivory: an evening shaped by lightness, clarity, and the quiet promise of beginning again. January is a threshold month. The noise of the holidays has faded, the calendar has turned, and what remains is space. Space to reset. To reflect. To start over gently.

Held at the close of the month, the evening will lean into that sense of renewal. Soft ivory tones, winter light, and a pared-back palette will set the stage for a table that feels calm, open, and intentional. A clean slate, without pressure. An invitation to arrive as you are, at the very start of a new year.

In collaboration with Chef Kate Levitt, the dinner will unfold with thought and care, guided by the feeling of the season. The menu will be refined and comforting, designed to support the sense of quiet focus and fresh beginnings that January offers.

As always, a moment of shared inspiration will be woven into the night. Something subtle and reflective that brings the theme to life. January’s offering will speak to renewal and release, marking the act of turning the page together. A reminder that beginnings do not need to be loud or dramatic to be meaningful.
